Stop/flip rule

Stop/flip rule is a predefined rule for ending low-return grinding and switching to a better route.

Plain meaning

The rule protects against repeating an ineffective move just because effort has already been spent. A user sets a condition in advance: if this route fails after a clear test, stop and flip to an alternative.

In training, this supports adaptive range and helps distinguish persistence from unproductive repetition.
