No. IQ Mindware is about human adaptive intelligence in a fast-changing digital environment. AI is an unusually powerful new part of that environment, but the broader framework also includes search, social media, cloud platforms, automation, online learning and digital communities.

Social platforms can expand discovery, weak ties, communities, learning opportunities and awareness of possible life paths. They can also intensify attention competition, social comparison, salience and switching. IQ Mindware treats that as a two-sided cognitive-niche problem rather than assuming social media is simply good or bad.

It is a proposed framework, not an established economic category. It is most relevant when a person or institution genuinely has several feasible paths and initiation is cheap relative to sustained allocation. It is not the default explanation for people whose bandwidth is already heavily committed or whose feasible alternatives are restricted.

It is a proposed research concept for the difference between progress in a representation — a clearer model, plan or imagined future — and progress in action or the external state itself. A polished strategy can be useful without yet changing revenue, skill, relationships, autonomy or another real condition.

No. It is IQ Mindware's provisional name for a candidate phenomenon: mistaking increasing fluency in modelling or explaining a strategy for increasing ability to realise it. It belongs in the research programme, not a list of established textbook biases.

No. Both can expand learning, opportunity, creativity and coordination. The question is how to gain those benefits while preserving attention, evidence judgement, commitment, retained capability and contact with real-world feedback.

Because assisted output and retained human capability are different outcomes. AI can help explain, compare, generate and critique, while people still need enough understanding and judgement to frame the task, assess evidence, make consequential decisions, notice exceptions and recover when the tool or context changes. IQ Mindware does not claim that AI generally reduces reasoning ability; the aim is a better division of cognitive work.

Synergy IQ is IQ Mindware’s developing network-based cognitive training system. It divides training into seven functional nodes and asks progressively harder questions about whether learning survives changes in task format, transfers to independently designed measures and eventually influences learning elsewhere in the network.

The Adaptive G profile is a developing research instrument, not a validated single intelligence score. Separate measurement does not remove practice effects or prove causation, but it keeps training performance, self-reported adaptive functioning and objective cognitive benchmarks distinct.

Increasing general intelligence is the design aim; a demonstrated IQ gain is an outcome to establish. Synergy IQ trains connected capacities using a mutualism-informed approach. Separate cognitive and IQ-related assessments help users investigate progress. Demonstrating that training caused a broader gain also requires appropriate comparisons and controls.

Transfer means that learning extends beyond the exact trained exercise. Synergy IQ distinguishes several levels: a changed task wrapper, an independent task targeting the same construct, a possible effect on another network node, deployment in a real cognitive niche, and broader far transfer.

The further the test moves from the trained exercise, the stronger the evidence needed.

Yes. Each node is designed as a focused construct-training programme. Its immediate evidence question is whether learning survives variation and appears on an untrained task sampling the same capacity.

The complete network is a separate, longer-term route for testing effects on fluid intelligence. You do not need the network for a standalone capacity gain to matter.

It means improvement is visible on a different task intended to sample the same underlying cognitive capacity. That is stronger evidence than becoming fluent with another cosmetic version of the same game.

Synergy IQ uses changed visual, emotional or contextual wrappers partly to test whether performance is becoming less tied to one surface form. The literature does not justify assuming that wrapper variation automatically creates transfer.

No — these are different claims. Near transfer means improvement on an untrained task drawing on the same construct. A work or study benefit is applied or niche transfer and must be tested in that real-life context.

Synergy IQ uses Capacity → Strategy → Niche to make that next step explicit without presenting it as automatic.

In Trident-G theory, Gf searches a novel problem. Focused construct training aims to bank robust cognitive skills, relational structures and control policies as reusable Gc. Network training then recombines those portable skills under new demands and tests whether fluid intelligence improves.

The proposed Gf effect is a research hypothesis, not an established outcome.

Network transfer is a Synergy IQ research term for the hypothesis that training one node changes the later performance or learning trajectory of another node. For example, stronger attention control might make later relational-memory learning more efficient.

That is different from two app scores merely correlating. It would need longitudinal or intervention evidence with appropriate comparison conditions.

It is the programme’s “vertical transfer” design principle. Capacity develops the cognitive operation; Strategy makes the cue and policy explicit; Niche asks whether the person can recover and use that capacity/strategy in a relevant real-world context.

The underlying learning principles have evidence behind them, but Synergy IQ still needs to test whether combining the three produces added value beyond the components alone.

It is being developed as the g loop — Apply and learn: an application layer connecting the seven cognitive nodes, with optional AI use.

That is an important question for the programme. AI can offer explanations, hints and challenges, or take over thinking that would otherwise provide practice. Our upcoming exercises are designed to support learning and retain independent capability. Whether particular patterns of AI use increase or decrease IQ is a separate research question, not an established general effect.
