Protocol
Re-entry protocol
Re-entry protocol means a short sequence for returning to organised task execution after disruption.
After an error, overload or interruption, people often rush, freeze or keep repeating the same move. A re-entry protocol creates a deliberate reset: pause, restate the goal, identify the next valid step and resume at a workable level.
It is used as a cognitive-control support, especially under time pressure or emotional load.
